Hersey Lee Coles was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts and now resides in Philadelphia, PA. In his fifteenth year as Minister of Music at Eagle’s Nest Christian Fellowship, Hersey is known best for his ability, like David in the Psalms, to usher God's people into His presence through the Prophetic Song and Word. As a Prophetic Minstrel, God has commissioned him to do three things: destroy yokes. (1) Convey what He is saying to the people by having the mind of Christ and listening to the heartbeat of the Father; (2) Find the flow of the Holy Spirit and usher God's people to the next level through worship and; (3) Minister prophetically with the ability through Jesus Christ to loose shackles, break chains and destroy yokes.
Hersey has submitted and dedicated his life to God, his family and his leaders - Apostle Ricci & Sr. Pastor Theresa Hausley. He has learned and truly believes that the best way to minister is out of relationship, and that how you relate to God will show through the way you relate to others. “As I relate to the Father and He ministers to me, I can minister to others. As God speaks to me, I can speak to others, and as God sings to and through me, I can sing to others.”
Hersey is a graduate of Eagle’s Nest Prophetic College, where he is now teaching Prophetic Worship. He is the President of Eagle’s Nest Recording Studio and has appeared on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). He is also the Music Director for the annual "Apostolic Resource Ministries" (A.R.M.) Conference held in Indiana. He also teaches various workshops on the subject of worship, hearing the voice of God through song and finding the “flow”. Hersey has worked as a producer, arranger and sound technician for various gospel artists such as Marilyn Bockus, Joe Turner and Rev. Lee Mitchell just to name a few. He was also the lead singer for “The Chosen” a group based out of Teen Challenge Training Center, a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center located in Rehersburg, PA.
Hersey had the leading role in the hit gospel play “Bend Don’t Break” which traveled many cities and various states. Today, Hersey is busy training, teaching and raising up Praise and Worship leaders to identify and become sensitive to the move of God in a corporate setting. He is currently promoting his new CD release entitled Broken The Continuation and preparing for the live DVD project. Elder Hersey is married to the love of this life; Tracey and they have three children, Daun, Deion and Hersey, Jr. |
